I am constantly looking for ways to keep my body in shape. The less time it takes, the better it is for me. If you are a busy mom, in school and/or working a full time job, and want an effective way to exercise, then consider doing intense training for 10 minutes or less.
Marathon Runners Verses Sprinters
Think about it like this, a marathon runner has a particular body build; she is usually very slender small muscle mass yah know, just lean. A sprinter has a different body type, usually big muscle shapely bigger lower half. The 2 types of workouts are geared for endurance and other for strength.
I prefer sprinters body's because it keeps the muscle more defined and as we getting older we want more muscle mass to keep the skin from sagging.
So the key is to do the maximum amount of exercise reps
So the key is to work at your peak for a few minutes rather than running on a treadmill for an hour in the shortest amount of time so you don't burn.
To close, Im not saying you have to run or sprint to workout the analogy was to show you that effect workouts can be done in a few minutes. Enjoy.
