How To Stick To Exercise

I think the hardest thing to make a routine is exercise, most people abhor it,but never the less, it must be done. For me my intensity and frequency depends on whats going on in my life. I have times when Im in the gym at 4am and other times when I the most I will do is stretching exercises. My energy levels and focus vary slightly from day to day, but I really try not to let too much time pass in between my workouts. At the age I am now, it shows immediately when I miss a workout.

3 Steps to committing to exercise:
Step 1- Build slowly- there"s noting worse than going hard, spraining muscles and then being unable to move and workout efficiently for your next session. If your new to this or returning to a routine, take it slow by increasing workout time and intensity by increments. Example: Walk for 25 minutes and every 3 days increase your work by a 1-5 minutes.

Step 2- Dress for Success- By this I mean ditch the frumpy sweat pants and dingy shirts and invest in real workout clothes that will look stylish and give you the motion support you need. When u look good, you feel good! And this goes for working out. When u take some time to look good for your workout, it won't feel like such a pain, and it may even keep you motivated, I know I wouldn't want to see frumpy looking exercise models. Your look matters.

Step 3- Make it a lifestyle, i mean subscribe to journals, read about the latest technologies for working out,(shoes, timers, gear). Read success stories often, and make them apart of your life.

There are other steps to staying on the exercise track but these are the top 3
