It raining here in California and as I sit here planning the day,I am inspired to write to my Black and Comely ladies about success. There are so many women wonderful sistahs following their dreams and waking up every morning excited and focused. Are u that woman? I know what its like to work unfulfilled, to be bombbarded with shameful requests for over alliance with a cause not our on. Sometime we try to reinvent the wheel. We try to out do others, or we worry that our gifts and natural abilities are 'played out'.
But....
Who can be u? Who can possibly become anything even close to being u,if you are living your authentic self. Yes there are a million ways to cook beef but cook books are the fasted selling of any genre, each author giving u her 'secret' recipe for making it fabulous!
Never forget that u are the sum total of your entire life experience:
tragedies,
awards,
natural skill,
where u live,
your parents,
friends,
lovers
desires
NO ONE can do u like u! So go on and how the world another way to be great at what ever it is that brings u joy and purpose.
