Some women are good at getting what they want from men. Why? Because they feel they are deserving of what they are manipulating him for. Some women are broke sluts, Why? Because they feel they are deserving the crumbs they receive for for having sex. Some women very agreeable mates, always with a smile but they cry inside,Why? Because they feel they have no right to request the things that would make them happy.
I receive phone calls everyday from women all over the world. We talk about relationships and what they are going through with these trifling ass men. Some sisters are afraid to tell their men that they are lousy in bed. Some are afraid to ask for money to pay bills, others stay because they are not financially able to stand on there own.
So, in a nutshell we are afraid!
But life doesn't stop because of your fear. You are getting older as you sit in your sorrow. The planet continues to rotate, your children are growing, the world is moving while you think your standing still. But your going somewhere too. How many women do we buried with their goals and dreams never realized because they decided that the people (family, lovers, boyfriends, husbands, friends, employers) had more say over the direction of there lives than themselves. You think your honor is on the cross. You think your crown in 'ruffin it'.
When people ask you who you are, how do you feel about that question? Do you become nervous? Is the image of yourself a blur? Is the picture of how you see yourself clear? Do you feel like a liar when you answer the question?
Then you have work to do to make what you utter to someone true to yourself. And I don't care if its a request for money speak, intent for love, respect from others etc.. To get all that, you must feel your deserve it. I look at leaders like Farakhan and Jessie Jackson. I watch there fantastic speaking skills and admire how they move the crowd.
But for most of us, it's just like a performance, a show that we clap for, get all excited and go home with a few quotes in our heads...but the same body action. And eventually we forget everything we them say. But I watch them speak, I see the fire in there eyes. They BELIEVE what it is they say. I watch Jessie Jackson tell the crowd to look for the white envelopes under our seats and check off which dollar amount we pledge to donate. Without hesitation in his voice, straight poster, eye to eye contact and an air of conviction and NO SHAME, he tell you to do an action that will further his causes.
But you... You open your legs to men in shame and wonder why you are diseased or lack means. You allow people to talk to you any kind of way and feel that it is your lot in life to be looked over. You think because your hair is straight that you are a pass for the men you think are in power. But you still are ashamed of who you are.
I am a LIFE COACH, this is what I am and do. I change lives and very proud of the help I give to my people. I want you to declare who you are right now, even if its not 100% true yet, declare it. Then go forth and start doing work(develop your skill, behavior) to match your declaration. Build yourself up, little by little by reading, and practical work.
Just do it!
